Warehouse Operative - Rotating Shift Pattern

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Just Recruitment is working with a well regarded, industry leading, manufacturing organisation, based on the outskirts of Maldon - they are looking for a 'Warehouse Operative' on a fixed term contract - for 12 months. For the right candidate this could be extended or turn in to a permanent role.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The key purpose of this role is to support the overall warehouse function, to unload and load in a busy and fast paced environment - ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded and business processes are followed at all times.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key duties</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drive Counterbalance FLT on a regular basis</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure FLT checks are carried out daily and failures reported via internal system</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out picking of products in a timely and accurate manner</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support packing room ensuring packaging material is always available to support line efficiency</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure Stock rotation is done in compliance with agreed site standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Report all damages to stock controller/line manager and locate in quarantine once advised</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete pre-loading/unloading vehicle inspections and ensure drivers follow the site rules</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure vehicle is loaded with out damages</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Transferring of products to standard pallets</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading of vehicle containers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain effective communication with hauliers, line management</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow site escalation procedures in the event of issues, non-compliance and failures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all personnel visiting area follow site HSE procedures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure product is delivered/despatched with correct documentation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure weekly cleaning schedule is completed and updated via internal system</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Take reasonable and practical care of personal health and safety and of others who may be required to implement any legal or company directives regarding health and safety at work</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain and drive all standards relating to Health & Safety, quality, and hygiene</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge, skills & experience required:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Practical experience of working within a high speed/FMCG manufacturing operation is essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of manufacturing and HSE process and legislation is essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience of driving Counterbalance FLT, and a valid, externally accredited licence, is essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid driving licence to drive on public highways is essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of working with scanners is an advantage</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working hours</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, working on a rotating 5 week shift pattern as detailed below:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">05:45 - 14:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">07:30 - 15:45</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">08:00 - 16:15</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">09:30 - 17:45</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">12:00 - 20:15</p>
