Warehouse Operative

The Role

An established business is looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join its team.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading, checking and storing deliveries.
• Preparing, packing and despatching customer orders accurately and on time.
• Updating stock records and locations using an internal computer system.
• Carrying out regular stock checks.
• Reporting low stock levels to the relevant team.
• Receiving and tracking repairs, keeping colleagues updated on progress.
• Supporting production and despatch teams as required.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse and surrounding areas.

The Ideal Candidate

• Organised, proactive and able to prioritise workload.
• Reliable, with good attention to detail.
• A good team player with strong communication skills.
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new computer systems.
• Holds a valid counterbalance forklift licence.
• Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial.
