<p class="text-muted mb-3">This role is ideal for experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians, Diesel Mechanics, Fleet Technicians, or Commercial Vehicle Engineers with strong expertise in HGV servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and commercial vehicles</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete vehicle inspections, defect repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare HGVs for MOT testing and ensure compliance with DVSA standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical faults using diagnostic equipment such as Texa and Jaltest</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Perform fault finding and repairs to a consistently high standard</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain accurate job cards, service records, and workshop documentation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work across a wide range of heavy vehicle and trailer systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure a safe, clean, and professional workshop environment at all times</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Skills and Experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Heavy Vehicle Technician</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong knowledge of HGV and trailer systems, maintenance, and repairs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with diagnostics and fault finding</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to deliver servicing and repairs to a high standard</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, IMI or equivalent Heavy Vehicle qualification</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 2 / Category C driving licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience using Texa, Jaltest, or similar diagnostic tools</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV MOT preparation experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience with trailer, PSV, agricultural, or plant maintenance</p>
